Michael Wilson  is currently organist at Currie Kirk, Edinburgh. He will be presenting a varied  selection of organ music. This recital will take place on Friday and Sunday.  Hear Brechin Cathedral’s pipe organ  played in a relaxed environment.

THE NOTEABLES COMMUNITY CHOIR

The Noteables stole the show at the first Voicefest in September 25. A fully inclusive community choir based in Dundee and Forfar.  The group are  proving to be in demand with an appearance at the hugely successful Summer's End Angus festival. Spending an hour on a Saturday afternoon listening to The Noteables is sure to lift your spirits.

 REVIVAL: SACRED is a cinematic journey where centuries of musical tradition meet modern electronic sound.

Performed live by Matt Walters AKA Reductio, this concert combines original compositions, reimagined classical masterpieces and contemporary electronic production, all centred around the magnificent voice of the pipe organ.

FAMILY EVENT! Author and Storyteller Eileen Budd invites you to listen to the spell songs that breathe life and enchantment into our folklore and traditions and to rediscover how our mythical heritage and Brechin dialect words are woven throughout our local stories of Brunties, Quheilwrichts and horsefish*. Nominated for Scots Language Performer of the Year in 2025.

Despite the organ being behind the audience, a big screen will relay pictures.

THE PERTH BARBERSHOP SINGERS

Perth Barbershop Singers have been singing together for  30 years.  They acknowledge  that this singing has been an extreme and eccentric response to the male menopause – a condition which shows no sign of easing with the passing years.

Expect some big anthems,  mixed with something lighter for singing along with.

THE FERRYDEN COMMUNITY CHOIR

The vibrant Ferryden Community Choir, started out in the village in September 2022.

Open to adult singers of all abilities, this inclusive group's only requisite is that they love singing and enjoying themselves. Singing for the first time in Brechin Cathedral,the choir will cover a variety of genres of music - popular, musicals, folk and more.
